You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions.

Our team helps our clients identify and reduce tax risks, meet compliance obligations, implement tax strategies that complement business and operational objectives, resolve disagreements with tax authorities, and manage tax accounting and reporting issues. You’ll be engaged in projects dealing with International tax, mergers and acquisitions, state and local tax accounting, regulatory processes, tax reporting and strategy.

A. JOB PROFILE

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Credit Control Execution

  • Perform WIP management and billing for Tax Line of Service (TLS) Practice client-facing engagement teams

  • Perform credit control/collections for the TLS nationally

  • Follow up telephonically or by email with external PwC clients on outstanding debtors

  • Always liaise with external clients and internal client-facing employees in a professional manner at all times to ensure payment is received

  • Ensure client queries or complaints are resolved or escalated when required

  • Investigate and resolve queries relating to debtors on the debtors’ monthly report

  • Reconcile, print and sort monthly debtor statements as requested

  • Allocate payments made to relevant debtors

  • Send reminders for payments to external clients as required by process.

  • Liaise with internal firm finance staff and submit requests for finance adjustments in accordance with the standard finance operating procedure

  • Provide regular feedback and status updates to the Credit Control Coordinator/Manager and business as required

  • Collate responses relating to outstanding debtors for submission to management

  • Oversee account balances to identify long outstanding debts or other inconsistencies

  • Generate reports required by business and agreed processes

  • Identify areas of improvement and action from a Credit Control perspective

  • Identify and recommend changes to systems and procedures where appropriate

  • Liaising with other PwC offices regarding Inter-Territory Bills (ITBs)

  • Initiating legal hand-over proceedings on long-outstanding debtors
